 Avalon Optimised Mining Experience

The A1166Pro, with a dramatically optimized performance compared to its predecessor, has an arithmetic power of 81TH/s and an energy efficiency ratio of 42J/T. This product has also been optimized in all aspects including body structure, fan cooling, backend management and native firmware.

Since the first ASIC miner, Avalon, was launched in 2013, Avalon has spanned 110nm, 28nm, 16nm and 7nm process steps to ensure the strong performance of the Avalon series models. At the same time, Avalon has explored platform-based product design, striving to upgrade the mining experience in terms of core performance indicators, product packaging, body materials, internal structure, security and customer service.

For example, in order to improve the heat dissipation of the mining machine and alleviate the pain point of the mine being too "dry", Avalon uses special material to cover the chip evenly, which effectively improves the thermal conductivity of the chip and reduces the thermal resistance between the heat sink and the chip, so that the heat generated during the operation of the chip can be quickly conveyed to the heat sink and then quickly discharged through the fan to achieve efficient The thermal conductivity of conventional heat sink materials is between Traditional heat sink materials have a thermal conductivity of 1 to 2W/MK, while special heat sink materials have a thermal conductivity of over 30, or even hundreds, which significantly optimises the machine's thermal performance, reduces the machine's energy consumption and prevents the machine from overheating and causing fluctuations in computing power.

The internal structure of the machine has also been improved, with reinforcement slots embedded in the chassis to ensure that the machine is more robust and reliable.

To make it easier for mine operators to test and repair the machine, Avalon has adopted an extractable arithmetic board design. By unscrewing the two screws connected to the power supply and unplugging the main control board connection cable, the arithmetic board can be easily extracted without disassembling the whole machine.

The A1166Pro has also been optimised in terms of software to dynamically adapt to changes in the mining environment to ensure stable operation, reduce impact on the site's power grid and extend the life of the mining machine. At the same time, the new web management backend is able to monitor the status of the miner at all times, support visual human-machine interaction, automatically alert abnormal operation, and autonomously shut down in the event of unexpected failures that seriously affect computing power, reducing electricity losses.

What's more, Avalon maintains stable cooperation with TSMC, SMIC and Samsung. Supply chain management ensures sufficient capacity.
